Usage notes
edit(military): Under the National Revolutionary Army (NRA), a corps was composed of two or three divisions (整編師 / 編制師), and some independent companies (連), regiments (團) and brigades (旅). The corps was the basic tactical unit of the NRA. In turn, it could be combined with other corps to make an army (軍), route army (路軍), army group (集團軍), army corps (兵團) (front), military region (軍區) (theatre).
