Hello, I see you replaced a CSD tag on an article. We do not do this. The article is sourced, asserts significance, and is not promotional. Not sure it would pass WP:AFD, but that would likely be the best place to sift matters. Editors Needed On Clarifying the Albanian Case[edit]

Dear Editors, -- Please let me kindly invite you to investigate and clarify the status of Albania as an Allied force. Since there is an editor below who unilaterally refuse even considering the provided facts and historical sources, then I invite a quorum of other editors (preferable with knowledge on WW2 history and Balkans) to investigate the case. Best Regards

Albania was an Ally state, the book "Enciclopedia of World War II, Volume 1, Section "Treaties Ending the War", Page 824, ISBN-10: 0816060223, ISBN-13: 978-0816060221" acknowledges that Albania signed the peace treaties in the end of WW2 as an Allied country.
Citing page 824: "The first peace treaty concluded between the Allies and a former Axis nation was with Italy. It was signed in Paris on February, 10, 1947, by representatives from Albania, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czechoslovakia, Ethipia, France, Great Britain, Greece, India, Iraq, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zeeland, Pakistan, Poland, Slovak Republic, South Africa, the Soviet Union, the United States, Yugoslavia, and Italy."

Unless there is any source showing the contrary, please add Albania to this page, clarifying 1) the fighting contribution of the Albanian National Liberation Front and 2) the fighting contribution of the government in exile by King Zog in terms of 2.1. resisting the Italian invasion, 2.2. resisting throughout WW2 through the Legality Movement forces.

You have just reverted my reversion, so let's better discuss the thing and not start a silly edit war.

You point me, quite rightly, to Template:Infobox_musical_artist#associated_acts to support your decision to add Toto to Tal Wilkenfeld's list of associated acts. There we can read, as a criterion for inclussion:
You might want to see this and give your opinion. - Other acts with which this act has collaborated on multiple occasions, or on an album, or toured with as a single collaboration act playing together

But we can also read as criterion to avoid:

The Sociology WikiProject is conducting a roll call (or min-census, if you prefer). More then five years down the road, we have over 50 members, but we don't know how many of them are still active in the sociology area. If you are or want to become once again an active contributor to the sociology content on Wikipedia, please move your name from the inactive to the active list on our roll call (or add yourself to the list if you haven't joined yet!).

- One-time collaboration for a single, or on a single song
In other news, we have reactivated the newsletter :) At least, for this announcement. We also have a new, automated to do listing, an active tag and assess project (which has identified about 1,800 sociology articles on Wikipedia, and assessed about 1,3000 of them), and three new userboxes for your self-identification pleasure :) On a final note, I highly recommend watchlisting the Wikipedia:WikiProject Sociology page, so you can be aware of the ongoing discussions.

I can read in the Toto XIV that Tal is indeed credited, but along four other bass players. And the source for those credits singles out David Hungate as the bassist. So it is quite unlikely that Tal's collaboration went further than playing on a single song, or maybe some scattered overdubs. I thing this falls under the criterion for avoidance, rather than the criterion for inclusion, don't you agree?--Gorpik (talk) 13:15, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
You are now a Reviewer
:Hi, and thanks for starting a discussion. According to the source, both Hungate and Wilkenfeld (among others) are listed as bassists on the record, so we cannot know precisely how much they have contributed. I say we wait until more detailed sources come out and see to make the correct assumptions. But for now I think Wilkenfeld is, technicaly at least, associated with Toto. --Λeternus (talk) 13:30, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

::According to C. J. Vanston, the record producer, on March 25th 2014: "Tal Wilkenfeld killed it today in my studio with Toto... Played on two songs, we had a blast, what a player. Great project." So it looks like she played in just one session for two songs. To me, though the current wording is unclear, the criterion collaborated on an album means collaborating on equal terms, such as Metallica and Lou Reed in the infamous Lulu, or at the very least playing in all songs, such as Tal herself did with Ryan Adams. That's why it is mentioned along with on multiple occasions or toured with as a single collaboration act playing together (and not played a concert together, for instance). Otherwise, the Associated acts list for session players would be endless. This collaboration is worthy for the main article body, but not for the infobox.--Gorpik (talk) 15:12, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

Hello Aeternus,
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

However, as far as I see, some pages need to be still open as they fill in the Wikipedia's rules and are very regularly visited.
I think about the Igorrr page, the artist is noticeable enough to have an article on the site as many people seems to be concerned by his music.
CF, the amount of interviews he has done, the large amount of reviews about his music, some of them, in noticeable magazines as "Les Inrockuptibles", "Trax", "Rock Hard" or "Rock A Rolla", the amount of concerts Igorrr has done by the years, some of them, again, in noticeable festivals like "Dour Festival", the International touring he has done these years (All Europe, Canada, Russia, Middle East, Armenia).
To take some sources, here are some online articles about his music : https://www.facebook.com/notes/igorrr/online-press/10151220601778049
And some concerts he/they have done : http://www.igorrr.com/#tour
We can notice also that Igorrr has worked with important bands as Morbid Angel, Mayhem, Tryo, Estradasphere, and has been programmed on the biggest French radios as "France Musique", "France Culture", "Le Mouv'" to speak only a few words about that.

Not to mention also that Igorrr is going to play with some of the most important Metal band like Slipknot at Forta Rock this year ( source : http://www.fortarock.nl/ ).

I think he became noticeable enough to leave his page open, and people like me needs such informative media about that kind of music.
Hi
Same for his label Ad Noiseam, the label has done so much important work on this scene that we need its page to be visible and open to read any time.

Thank you again for your time and for understanding.
Strangely enough that is one term that we normally say "a Eurasian" rather than "an Eurasian" (Cyprus edits):

Hello, if I can just add something. The notability for the artist has its own criteria, to be seen as a notable a musician should meets at least one of 12 points. Number 4, 5, 7 and 12 are evidently completed by this musician. Moreover the numerous articles in a popular music magazines are taking part of a reliable sources (Metal storm webzine, Side-Line magazine etc). All of his work was physically published in a form of digipack CD or vinyl.
The Eurasian patent office has it on their title page as "a Eurasian" but then go on to call themselves an organization lol Chaosdruid (talk) 07:10, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
As I know there are also few master thesis about his work, although I am not sure if this one can really count as a reliable source. <small><span class="autosigned">—&nbsp;Preceding unsigned comment added by Bagienna (talk • contribs) 12:59, 19 February 2015 (UTC)</span></small><!-- Template:Unsigned --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.<!-- Template:PRODWarning --> -- <font color="#307D7E">Phantom</font><font color="#55CAFA">Steve</font>/<font color="#008000">talk</font>&#124;<font color="#000080">contribs</font>\ 13:17, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Since you often contribute to the music topics, could you, please take a look at the Oleg Bezuglov article and express your opinion in discussion on whether it should be deleted or not. It was nominated on suspicion of not passing the WP:MUSICBIO criterion. The discussion is currently dead in the water, and I'm afraid it might be relisted again because of that. :: No need to apologise: adding relevant sources to an article is going to improve it 99% of the time, and I certainly don't want to discourage you from doing just that. It's just that a single study on 30 people is a primary source for its conclusions. Where those conclusions make claims about the ability of a procedure or drug to treat a condition, we have agreed not to use them for Wikipedia content. We prefer instead to wait for a secondary source like a literature review or meta-analysis of multiple primary sources, because it's one step removed from the original experiments and is more objective. In other words, if the primary study has accurate conclusions, it will be reproducible and will be reviewed by third-parties. That's the level of evidence we're looking for for medical content and why we need that template to remain at present. I hope that makes sense, and that it helps you. Hi - I think the sorting of "last name" first, such as "Alliance, Future Beat", would only apply if "Alliance" were actually a person's last name. Future Beat Alliance doesn't sound like that sort of name. ("Mr. Alliance said this is the most personal work he's ever recorded," for instance.) I'm going to switch the sorting back so the article is found under "F". If you know for a fact that the performer is referred to as "Alliance", as if it were a family name, then you can ignore me and sort back as you just did. --Ken Gallager (talk) 13:58, 19 December 2017 (UTC)

Hi Aeternus, I noticed your changes in the genre of Periphery. Past weeks I reverted some genre changes made by unregistered users, for know I assume good faith on your part, but it could help the article if we can find some good sources, limit the genres and keep it that way. Whoopsies, my mistake! I totally forgot about Donati on the latest album. Might you have any suggestions for sources that could be added to thicken the article up a little? It's quite sparse at the moment, and I don't actually know much about the band despite having heard their entire studio discography. ==Disambiguation link notification for December 7==

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the proposed deletion/dated files notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Music, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Stephen Davies (check to confirm&nbsp;|&nbsp;fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. <small>Read the FAQ Join us at the DPL WikiProject.</small>

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing proposed deletion/dated files will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> --<span style="font-family: monospace, monospace; color:#69C;">Minorax</span>&laquo;&brvbar;talk&brvbar;&raquo; 09:37, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Continuum (Instrument) request
I saw that you had edited the Continuum (instrument) page in the past. I build the Continuum, and have information I think should be listed on the page -- I have waited for years, but nobody listed it. As I understand Wikipedia ethics, I am not supposed to edit the page -- so I added a request for someone to add the information on the Continuum (instrument) talk page. Unfortunately, the "page visits" counter tells me that the talk page does not get visited by anyone (except me). It would be wonderful if you could take a look at the Continuum (instrument) talk page, and either add the information (if you think its a good idea), or tell me what I should do next? thanks a lot, Lippold

PS: I will check back here to see if you write anything here; I will check the Talk page on the Continuum (instrument) page as well. If you like you can also email me Lippold@HakenAudio.com50.179.49.252 (talk) 01:12, 22 November 2013 (UTC)Lippold

Gothic architecture
I noticed your addition of this tag.

You have given no examples of the "Peacock" language to which you are referring. I can only guess. In the article, there is no "proclamation about the subject's importance", beyond the facts represented here:
: A great number of ecclesiastical buildings remain from this period, of which even the smallest are often structures of architectural distinction while many of the larger churches are considered priceless works of art and are listed with UNESCO as World Heritage Sites.

These facts are true beyond doubt. Let me explain it.
* A small church built in 1960 is likely to be of no architectural distinction whatsoever. By contrast, a church of the same size built in 1360 is likely to have a fine wooden roof, mouldings around its pointed-arched doors and windows, small stone carvings and ornamental fittings even if it is only a small, plain church. All this adds up to having "architectural distinction".
* "Many of the larger churches are considered priceless works of art": e.g. Notre Dame, Paris; Chartres Cathedral, St Denis Basilica, Milan Cathedral, Florence Cathedral, Salisbury Cathedral, Wells Cathedral, Canterbury Cathedral, Lincoln Cathedral, York Minster, Reims Cathedral, Beauvais Cathedral, Cologne Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Ulm Minster, Amiens Cathedral, Laon Cathedral, Leon Cathedral, Rouen Cathedral etc etc etc. Many, if not all, of these buildings are World Heritage Sites. Why? Because they are considered priceless works of art.
:The statement that they are "considered priceless works of art" is supported by the fact that they have World Heritage Listing.
:The words "priceless works of art" has been used here (deliberately) rather than "priceless works of architecture" because each large church represents more than just a building. At some Gothic Churches (Chester Cathedral for example) it is the internal fittings that are the most significant feature. At the church of St Mary, Fairford, it is the stained glass that makes the building significant. At another church it might be the tombs, or the statues, or the painted ceiling.

I can assure you that when writing about architecture of this type, using terms like "considered priceless works of art" (with World Heritage Listings) is no different to citing a particular drummer, guitarist or keyboard player as considered by a particular magazine to be "one of the greatest" or even "the greatest of all time".

If this hasn't answered your questions about the language, then please get back to me. Amandajm (talk) 03:54, 25 April 2014 (UTC)
