Alcheringa, derives its etymology from an Australian aboriginal mythology and translates to “The Eternal Dream-time”. It was started back in 1996 and has grown bigger and better every year since. In 2002, ‘Alcheringa: Yin and Yang’ the concept of four pro-nites was first introduced.

Alcheringa hosts over 70 competitions. With huge prize money at stake, these competitions saw an overall participation of over 4000 people in Alcheringa 2016. The competitions are divided into eight modules each concerning a certain genre of art.
