ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:50, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

RM closure

edit

Can you clarify what you meant by your closure statement at Talk:Political_appointments_by_Donald_Trump#Requested_move_7_November_2024? There is already a new article that has been created for Trump's 2nd term appointments (Political appointments by Donald Trump in his second term though this title could be adjusted), and his nominations have been slowly trickling in. Natg 19 (talk) 20:05, 21 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Natg 19 I'm aware there's the new article, I was considering moving, however I read the consensus as to wait until the appointments have become more than just nominations. Zippybonzo | talk | contribs (they/them) 20:44, 21 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Although reading back many of those comments were multiple weeks old, so I'm not sure, I'll undo it and relist as it does need some fresh discussion to help figure out what to do. Zippybonzo | talk | contribs (they/them) 20:46, 21 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the relist! Natg 19 (talk) 20:55, 21 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
No problem, probably better to get some fresher thoughts because the majority of comments about waiting were a while ago and it would be good to check they still apply. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for following up here :) Zippybonzo | talk | contribs (they/them) 20:56, 21 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Relisting of Talk:Vagina#Requested move 14 November 2024

edit

You relisted this discussion, but I think (admittedly, I was involved) you should have closed it as not moved, since it appears that the nominator attempted to withdraw the nomination:

Okay, I'll try again with a split request.

I was going to close it as such, but did not due to my involvement. JJPMaster (she/they) 02:31, 23 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ahh, I saw the split request as an alternative proposal as it was inline with the move request, will close now. Thanks :) Zippybonzo | talk | contribs (they/them) 11:29, 23 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
