Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to N.F.-Board may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s and 1 "{}"s likely mistaking one for another. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

== Proposed deletion of ConIFA World Football Cup ==

The article ConIFA World Football Cup has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability, fails WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thanks and sorry for the deletion of the tag. The tag itself said something that I can remove it if it I improve the article, which I did by using refs. What is the reason for deletion ? Is it the style of the article or the content of it ? NikauTokelau (talk) 13:56, 24 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Something being well referenced does not make it notable. Something being covered in some media does not make it notable. GiantSnowman 18:26, 24 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
The guidelines say "If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list." Which part of that is not satisfied in your opinion? It has received significant coverage (Swedish/Norwegian national TV, Swedish national radio, Iraqi newspaper, Canadian newspaper, German magazines, UK magazines). Sources like national TV/radion, 11Freunde from Germany and the biggest Canadian French newspaper are surely reliable and independent of the subject. So which is the argument for not-notability ?
