My name is Simon. I am based in north-west England and started making contributions in February 2005. I mainly edit articles relating to football, and sometimes do New pages patrol if I'm bored. I work in a scientific field, but I tend to view editing science articles as too much like being at work. Note to self: edit more science articles, people will think you can't handle anything that's not football.
Articles regarded as good despite having portions written by me
Of late my contribution to featured material has mostly consisted of helping others with copyediting, give or take a good article or two. If you need help with or advice in getting a sport related article to good or featured status, please do not hesitate to ask on my talk page.
Based upon my experiences of developing and peer reviewing football club articles, I once tried to put together some editing advice on the subject. Maybe one day I'll get around to completing it. The current version can be found at On Football.
