Poorly cited article
editThis article cites medilexicon.com 7 times out of a total of 12 citations. Needs to be redone/expanded with authentic sources. TheGarvitGupta (talk) 19:42, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing this out. I'd support any change you made in this regard, @TheGarvitGupta. --Tom (LT) (talk) 11:55, 7 September 2015 (UTC)
Male/Female Lip Size
editAccording to studies that measure the lips physically, men have larger lips. Women have overall smaller faces however and narrower lips. For whatever reason I've often seen it mentioned that women have larger lips though. I think it's partially due to a desire to legitimize changes in beauty standards, seeing as full lips are particularly trendy. Should I link some studies here that show the measured differences? No need for separate articles - needlessly fragments and duplicates topic. Easily presented on a single article. Tom (LT) (talk) 22:05, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
- Support merging both to this article. Matthew Ferguson (talk) 18:40, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
- Support merging both to this article and I combined the sections into one discussion. Two discussions is unnecessary duplication too :) Legacypac (talk) 03:47, 26 February 2016 (UTC)

Merger proposal
editI propose that Tubercle of the upper lip be merged into Lip. I think that the content in the Tubercle article can easily be explained in the context of Lip, and the Lip article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Tubercle will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. PepperBeast (talk) 03:09, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
- Yep, merge. You can also leave a note about this at WP:Anatomy. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 05:39, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
