W-League and Youth League

edit

With the growth in coverage associated with these two leagues, I've written up a suggestion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football (soccer) in Australia#General article structure on how articles about leagues, clubs, teams, and seasons should be split. All comments appreciated! -- Chuq (talk) 11:32, 28 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I notice that someone has created articles for all the W-League teams, even though the proposal above specified that women's and youth league teams should be included in the main club article. After all seasons (including NYL and A-League) are completed I'll do some 'cleaning up'. -- Chuq (talk) 10:39, 1 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Professional

edit

Is this comp professional? I'd assume it is but there is no mention in the article either way. Bongomanrae (talk) 02:47, 29 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's part amateur, part semi-professional. I've added details regarding the pathetic salary cap. There's no way these player could survive from their football wages alone. 203.45.95.236 (talk) 10:17, 9 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Require addition of Western Sydney W-League

edit

As per the title. Not sure where I read it but I am pretty sure they are having a W-League side in addition the A-League.--TinTin (talk) 02:55, 2 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Map of Teams

edit

is it possible that we look at changing the map to remove New Zealand as it does not participate in the W-League and to get a better representation of NSW teams in there instead? --27.33.234.172 (talk) 07:40, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

I think the new is better. -Koppapa (talk) 13:56, 30 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Venues

edit

Why would a club have four Primary venues? I'd expect one stadium there. -Koppapa (talk) 11:11, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Fork to a new list

There's a new article called List of W-League (Australia) clubs which has been proposed for deletion as an Unnecessary content fork from W-League (Australia)#Clubs. and that it is Under-referenced.
