7th Baron...
editOkay, so his brother's adopted children can't inherit, due to the wording of the initial creation of the Barony... So, Nicholas Guest will inherit the title, if he outlives his elder brother. Well, who inherits from him? He has two daughters. But only a few titles in the peerage were written so daughters could inherit - generally only when the first lord had no sons, and grown daughters. So, is there a (distant?) male cousin waiting in the wings, like on Downton Abbey?
Nelson's title stated his nephew could inherit the title - very rare. Geo Swan (talk) 02:10, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
