- 21:5321:53, 20 August 2024 diff hist +32 Xenophon Improved the clarity of this unclear sentence, "For at least two millennia, Xenophon was debated to be whether generals, historians or philosophers." Since the article concedes that Xenophon was in fact all three (a fact that no one ever disputed, as far as I know), I've slightly changed the meaning too to make it a question of the relative significance of the three jobs. It also needs a footnote, probably.

- 08:4008:40, 21 April 2023 diff hist −34 Susan James (philosopher) I have now deleted the BLP sources tag following additional references. The tag did not specify any particular problems with referencing in the article. But I take my efforts to add deeper references to the biography and initial description, as well as the deletion of dead links in the article, to have improved its referencing to an adequate standard. Please feel free to challenge this in Talk page if you disagree.

- 14:5414:54, 27 January 2023 diff hist −15 Quentin Skinner I have fixed the grammar and improved the sense of the article in several places: deleted 'later' from description of Susan James as Professor of Philosophy at Birkbeck; replaced "prestigious lecture series" with the more specific "named lecture series"; got rid of an unnecessary "and" in the list of languages for principal publication no. 6; correct the publication year from 2021 to 2021 for Rethinking Liberty before Liberalism.
