Khagrachhari is a city in the Chittagong Hill Tracts of southeastern Bangladesh. It is the headquarters of Khagrachhari District.

Demographics
editAccording to the 2022 Bangladesh census, Khagrachhari city had a population of 58,875 and a literacy rate of 87.86%.[1]: 388–394
According to the 2011 Bangladesh census, Khagrachhari city had 10,247 households and a population of 47,278. 9,106 (19.26%) were under 10 years of age. Khagrachhari had a literacy rate (age 7 and over) of 71.01%, compared to the national average of 51.8%, and a sex ratio of 848 females per 1000 males. Ethnic population was 14,159 (29.95%), of which Chakma were 8,987, Marma 3,286 and Tripura 1,786.[2]
