Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Zahra's Blue Eyes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Persian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

October 2012

[edit]

Hello, I'm TheFarix. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Chameleon (manga), but you didn't provide a reliable source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Farix (t | c) 10:34, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Let me also add that telling other editors to stop removing unsourced material from articles when the burden is on you to provided a reliable source to keep the material in the article is not going to end well for you. —Farix (t | c) 11:22, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not add any more unsourced material to Wikipedia articles again. Continuing to do so will ultimately result in the loss of your editing privilages. You will have one week to add sources to the material you added to Chameleon (manga), after which point the content will be removed if no reliable sources are presented. —Farix (t | c) 20:49, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:01, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Northrop F-5 does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks!

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. Final warning

[edit]
  • We noticed that you have uploaded multiple images of questionable issue relating to copyrights (read also: →WP:Image use policy←), either you misappropriated them for reuse from other users/websites without first seeking their permission to grant you such permission(s) to do so and/or you deliberately mislabelled those images to claim them as your own work when in actual fact, it is really not. No matter what the reasons are, if we were to, henceforth, find anymore of such images uploaded by you, we will pursue the matter to BLOCK and/or BAN you from Wikipedia on a permanent basis. Take heed, you have been forewarned~! --Dave ♠♣♥♦™№1185©♪♫® 19:10, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Check sources before adding

Saudi Arabia has UH-1Hs according the source you added to Bell UH-1N Twin Huey. That's incorrect. The UH-1N is a twin-engine model and is different from the UH-1H is a single-engine model. The latter is covered at Bell UH-1 Iroquois. Thanks. -Fnlayson (talk) 20:00, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to George Karra may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invite to the African Destubathon

[edit]

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Egyptian films about Arab–Israeli conflict, which you created, has been nominated for possible deletion, merging, or renaming. A discussion is taking place to see if it abides with the categorization guidelines. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the categories for discussion page.
