A tag has been placed on Seventeen (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. An article you recently created, List of South Korean films of 2020, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Editing other people's talk page comments

[edit]

Hi there, re: this, you shouldn't be refactoring other people's talk page comments, and it's generally considered bad form to edit your own comment after someone has responded to it. What you can do, is strikethrough the wrong pronouns by using <s></s> around them, then append a comment to the end of your existing comment. Like:

The next day, MarnetteD moved my request from #Edit request to #New parameter (then "New field") and finally she he opposed the parameter, then I replied her him to support per #Oppose removal by ProcrastinatingReader. It means the result of the discussion on the section will not add "raised" parameter. Is it so? -St3095 (?) 15:46, 24 October 2020 (UTC) Fixed erroneous gender pronouns. Sorry. St3095 (?) 05:23, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This way you acknowledge the error without deleting the error from existence. I have reverted your edits. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 13:28, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

TfD closes

[edit]

Hi!

Thanks for your closes at TfD. Regarding the relists here, though, I think both were suitable for closure. Guidelines generally suggest not relisting more than two times. Soliciting further outside opinion may be a good reason to do that, but that was attempted after the 2nd relist. Regarding Licht, I would've closed it as keep personally, especially considering arguments from the previous opera TfDs. Quorums at TfD are often smaller than quorums at, say, AfD, so 2 well-formed arguments are generally sufficient for consensus, especially for smaller matters.

My general rule for XfDs is: if I wouldn't be confident or willing in closing a discussion as keep/delete (assuming, hypothetically, some post-relist opinions were there creating a consensus), I won't relist said discussion either. Reason being, some other closer with more familiarity with the matter and/or relevant policy may see a consensus where I may not see one. Perhaps this thought will help you too? Best, ProcrastinatingReader (talk) 12:25, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@ProcrastinatingReader: Sorry. I purposely relisted it twice a week. St3095 (?) 13:03, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This close was also a full 24 hours early, and most definitely should not have been relisted. I'm going to have to ask that if you are not capable of closing appropriately, that you cease to do so. Primefac (talk) 20:46, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
And I came here asking about Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2020 October 19#Template:Lower case first letter italic title. Participants were evenly split, and the concerns with deletion that were brought up towards the end of the discussion were not addressed. I don't see how this could have been closed the way it was. – Uanfala (talk) 23:26, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning

[edit]

Stop relisting TFDs. Please. Just stop. You clearly do not understand when to close a discussion and when to relist. This is a ludicrous relist. Primefac (talk) 19:30, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Primefac: so, I can't relist again? I didn't know when I want to relist again. St3095 (?) 02:49, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I am saying that you have not demonstrated the ability to know when it is appropriate to close a discussion listed at TFD. Thus, I am asking you to stop performing non-admin closes at TFD. To make it easier, I would suggest turning off XFDCloser in your preferences. Primefac (talk) 15:13, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Primefac: I've already turned it off, but please don't get mad! St3095 (?) 16:17, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not mad, just making sure you understood my concerns. Thank you. Primefac (talk) 17:12, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your recent edit

[edit]

Hi, please get yourself familarize with the template documentation and instructions before using them. I noticed that you converting all YouTube references on The Penthouse: War in Life to use {{Youtube}}, however as per the template documentation, quote This is not a citation template. Use {{cite AV media}} to provide bibliographic citations in footnotes. Alternatively, use {{cite news}} if the video is a newscast, or {{cite episode}} if the video is in an episodic format., it is not a citation template.

In addition, you also replaced Netflix references on Hot Stove League (TV series) which again according to the Template:Netflix title documentation, quote Note: This template should only be added to Netflix original programs, original films and original stand-up comedy specials articles..

However fear not, I reverted some articles that are on my watchlist. Please be careful with your future edits. Paper9oll (📣📝) 14:23, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Television series set in 2022 indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Infinite (group). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. -- EN-Jungwon 12:32, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@In ictu oculi: You said these titles are "stable", right? If these titles are "band", then members have instruments to perform. Else "group", members can perform without all instruments according to WP:GROUPDAB. -St3095 (?) 16:35, 7 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Boys Planet Revision (March 2023)

[edit]

I have seen that you have undone my revision of your edit on March 7, 2023, at 06:35 UTC on List of Boys Planet contestants. Please stop doing this as most of your changes are against Wikipedia's Manual of Style. For example, you have cited MOS:FLAG and removed the flagicons from the K-Group/G-Group table headers. However, flagicons are allowed in tables as long as they serve a purpose, as stated here:

In lists or tables, flag icons may be relevant when such representation of different subjects is pertinent to the purpose of the list or table itself.

The flags are not decorative and serve the purpose of quickly and briefly informing readers which countries are represented in each group. The note you have added might also inform them but notes should be reserved for additional information or references, not primary/central information, which this is. Please see List of Girls Planet 999 contestants for a precedent of this formatting being used for the same purpose. Also, as said page is for the prequel to Boys Planet, it is only consistent to use the same formatting.

Furthermore, please don't use {{vanchor}} in section headings as it is against the template's usage rules:

This template should not be used within section headings. Doing so will result in broken links in edit summaries, as well as possible duplicate anchors.

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Albie Casiño. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 10:35, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Alienoid 2, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 16:38, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
