Welcome

[edit]

Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such unreasonable information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, and will result in your account being blocked.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! About your other account...

[edit]

I've read somewhere that you are now using this account because you can't access your original one (Bellymonster06 (talk · contribs)). I bet you forgot your password to that old one. I don't know if it is possible to delete your account or have it blocked so no one else would use it... You can ask the help desk on what to do with your original one. Anyway, it's not against Wikipedia's policy to have at least two user accounts, but sock puppetry (using a second account for fraudulent purposes/reasons) is against policy and is discouraged. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 15:42, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Average

[edit]

AVE. IS NOT the proper abbreviation of average. AVG is the proper abbreviation because AVE. is the abbreviation of avenue. Thank you. Kironobu (talk) 14:56, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No problem... no need for a thank you. :) Kironobu (talk) 15:05, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think you should not put the semi-protection templates in its pages. It's not a mere deterrent; it can only be placed if the articles are protected, which in reality aren't (it takes clicking the "edit this page" link to really find out if it is protected or not). You should request protection first on WP:RFPP before inserting the templates. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 07:19, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Conventional colors? The colors are too close together, it'll confuse people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Relej2 (talkcontribs) 08:39, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Look at the Big Brother articles so that you will have a guide. If you plan to make the Honorary scholar color different, you can instead use the color used by PBB Celebrity Edition 2 for Ethel. However, I cannot find the exact color and therefore decided to use the Houseguest color. Or instead, change the cyan color for the saved by mentors. (Since this was changed earlier this year) (Note that the probationary status will be rid by the end of the season anyway)LordBelly06 (talk) 08:42, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Pinoy Big Brother House Floor Plan.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. J Milburn (talk) 12:38, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Pinoy Big Brother House Floor Plan 2.png

[edit]
File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Pinoy Big Brother House Floor Plan 2.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:33, 10 October 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 05:33, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your last revert on Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up

[edit]

I re-reverted your revert. I think you didn't read carefully past PBB articles because those articles (particularly Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 2 and Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus) didn't mention normal evictions; only forced evictions and voluntary exits were mentioned. Remember what is said in the introduction of the section: "... Below is a chronology of events, not including nomination and eviction nights." - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 03:24, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Your message on my talk page: It wasn't me who added Jieriel's eviction note to the Chronology page of the Teen Edition Plus article. Also, it seems it was added along with the other evictions last April by Elhombre9 (talk · contribs), who seems to not read the intro of that section. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 03:49, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: On PBB Chronology of Events

[edit]

The separate PBB2 chronology article was originally created because it was beginning to clout on the main article. It was, however, deleted due to several factors. Read this archive to let you understand. But I still have the original contents of the article in my sandbox. Ask me if you want to edit it. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 15:05, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I worked on those chronologies as well, but it's my descretion on which events are notable and which aren't. But again, some users here are concerned mainly about article size. The chronologies for Celebrity Edition 2 and Teen Edition 2 were retained because their durations are short compared to the regular editions. But determining events to be included to the articles for regular editions is a bit dicey at best. But ideally, the items to be included should only be one-liners or as much as possible, very short, but still retains the crux of what happened on a certain day. - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 15:19, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nominations

[edit]

Can you check if what is written in the Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up article about last night's nominations are correct? I didn't tabulate the results, I wasn't the one who edited the table and the official website did not publish the results of voting - 上村七美 (Nanami-chan) | talkback | contribs 02:19, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image policy violation for Pinoy Big Brother House Floor Plan.png

[edit]

I am able to restore the page if needed. But the image link provided is of the same image. Are you saying that that image was actually a copy of yours? MrKIA11 (talk) 01:59, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I am saying that the photo is indeed mine. I made that image for one whole week using PAINT. As mentioned, I used screenshots of fellow forumers who post it online to make a somehow accurate floorplan. You can check the main site and all they have is a virtual tour. Please restore it. I gave it my time and effort, and I want to share it to the community. LordBelly06 (talk) 10:59, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well I restored it, but you should post your opinion in the discussion. Thanks, MrKIA11 (talk) 13:45, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do not return unsourced content about living people, particularly minors to articles.

Also, the inclusion of biographies was discussed on talk and determined to be WP:TRIVIAL content that did not belong in an encyclopedia article (see the Note on the article page itself as you attempt to edit.) Active Banana (talk) 06:13, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The entry stating the winners of the race in the opening description is a show spoiler to those who will access the page, but have not yet watched the show. As well, the winners are already indicated in the summary sidebar for those interested. Refraining from mentioning the winners at the start of the main body will keep consistency with the other articles in the The Amazing Race Asia series. 'strived'

[edit]

Are you sure about "she has strived", in your recent edit concerning Joya? Shouldn't it rathe be "she strived" or "she has striven"? Philip Trueman (talk) 12:33, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am not perfect. Feel free to revert and changes that you feel is necessary. I won't take it against you. LordBelly06 (talk) 12:38, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
