RfA thanks

[edit]

Thank you very much for your support for my recent RfA, which I'm quite happy to announce has passed with a consensus of 67 supporting, 0 opposed and 0 neutral. I'm glad I meet your criteria. Most of all, I'm glad you took the time to evaluate my candidacy, as I believe that's what keeps RfA running smoothly, and I'll be working hard to justify the vote of confidence you've placed in me. Please let me know at my talk page if I can assist you with any admin-related tasks, or just if you have any comments on my performance as an admin. Thanks! Thanks for uploading Image:ArncliffePO.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jusjih 01:14, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jusjih I've gon eback and fixed the two images I've loaded into Arncliffe. Can you please check to see whether I've done all the tagging correctly now? I don't want them to be deleted and I've got a few more to load. Thanks J Bar 01:38, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So, salamat, gracias, merci, ありがとう, спасибо, धन्यवाद, 多謝, agyamanak unay, شكرًا, cảm ơn, 감사합니다, mahalo, ขอบคุณครับ, go raibh maith agat, dziękuję, ευχαριστώ, Danke, תודה, mulţumesc, გმადლობთ, etc.! My RfA thanks

[edit]
Hello Jusjih/Archives in Jul 2006, and thank you for your support at my Request for Adminship, which succeeded with an overwhelming final count of (105/2/0). I was very pleased with the outpouring of kind words from the community that has now entrusted me with these tools, from the classroom, the lesson in human psychology and the international resource known as Wikipedia. The Free Encyclopedia. Please feel free to leave me plenty of requests, monitor my actions (through the admin desk on my userpage) and, if you find yourself in the mood, listen to some of what I do in real life. In any case, keep up the great work and have a fabulous day. Grandmasterka 04:05, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Images from locutusofborg

[edit]

following images have been linked to on the Pokemon_Diamond_and_Pearl page under "internal links" :

Image:PokebattleDP2.gif

Image:PokemonDP2.gif

For some reason the file is not showing up as linked, probably because it is not used as a thumbnail. It is being linked to though! Can you please help me solve this problem.

Image:PokemonDP.gif may be deleted because it is not being used.

Thank you: Locutusofborg 20:11, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for Supporting my RfA!

[edit]

Thanks for supporting my RfA, which I am pleased to report that it passed by a margin of 54/6/1. Sorry for not thanking you earlier, but I have been busy watching the FIFA World Cup, as well as other activities outside of Wikipedia, so it has taken a while for me to personally thank each and every one of my supporters (no template here!). If you ever see me doing something I shouldn't as an admin (IanManka (talkcontribsblocksprotectsdeletionsmoves)), please let me know. Sorry about the tardy response, and I thank you for your support again! Ian Manka Talk to me! 08:43, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There was a copyright placed on this photo recently and I was wanting to delete it as soon as possible. I uploaded it on the 13th and today is the 20th (7 days, hence). I've alread contacted the main board of wikipedia and I know the "semi-owner" of the picture has contacted them as well. I've tried deleting it myself; however, I don't have the correct status. I have already apologize to the owner for my mistake. Please delete the photo a.s.a.p.(!Mi luchador nombre es amoladora de la carne y traigo el dolor!)

I am not sure I fully understand. I DID read the help page. One section specifically mentions:"Actively erasing non-harassing personal messages without replying (if a reply would be appropriate or polite) will probably be interpreted as hostile." I tried to reply before archiving. If it did not come through, please see above.Coolhandscot 01:51, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for contributing the impressive the pile of supports gathered on my RfA, which passed with a final tally of 0x0104/0x01/0x00. I'm happy that so many people have put faith in my abilities as an admin and promise to use the tools wisely and do my best not to let you down. If I ever may be of assistance, just leave a note on my talk page.

Eluchil404's RfA

[edit]

Thank you for taking the time to express an opinion in my recent request for adminship. I have withdrawn my self-nomination because there seemed little prospect for further productive discussion or the formation of a consensus to promote. Many commentators offered constructive critisism that I will use to improve myself as a user. Others suggested that the nomination was premature and that a re-nom in a few months would be more likely to gain consensus. One of the reasons you gave for your opinion was per Tony. If you have the time, I would appreciate some specific feedback on what actions I can take to remedy the problems identified by Tony Sidaway. If not, not problem; I still appreciate the feedback. Thank you so much for voting in my recent RFA. It passed on the relatively narrow vote of 38/8/8. It was also one of the least-participated-in RFA nominations in several months, so pat yourself on the back, and join the party on your left, but first, take your cookie!

NOTE: I can't code HTML to save my life. I copied this from Misza13. I guess I should write him a thank you note as well. Cookies sold separately. Batteries not included. Thanks for your opinions in my RfA. Ultimately, the request did not pass, with a vote of (43/16/7). But your honest opinion was appreciated and I'll just keep right on doing what I do. Maybe I'll see ya around -- I'll be here!
Cheers! - CheNuevara 17:43, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

===>Blame it on WP:AWB I was using the AutoWiki Browser, and it has a selection of generated edit summaries that you can use. My guess is, my cursor accidentally chose that one somehow (due to negligence) and/or it's simply the first choice on the list. I was trying to delink articles that had excessive links to dates (particularly ones I created, like the one in question.) Hope that clarifies. -Justin (koavf), talk, mail 05:39, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
