Welcome to the madhouse; please say hello

Welcome

[edit]

Hi, Bigweezyfan1. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to me right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck!  Chzz  ►  02:58, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

Welcome and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Rebirth (Lil Wayne album) worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead. Thank you. The cover is not an official cover for the album. Only the actual cover for the album (with a reliable source) should be placed on the article Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 23:23, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Lilwayne rebirth cover.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Lilwayne rebirth cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:34, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Rebirth (Lil Wayne album), you will be blocked from editing. You keep putting up unofficial covers. If you keep up with such edits, I will permanently ban you (I do suspect you've been here before, doing the same thing) Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 22:41, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Lil Wayne- Rebirth

[edit]

There is no actual album cover for Rebirth, for no announcement for such cover is released. The picture you continue to put are false or unconfirmed. They are from locations in which the source is not reliable, so the information can be considered as false.

I've had it

[edit]

Seriously, stop putting false album covers on Rebirth (Lil Wayne album). If you put one more false cover on the page, I will block you. This behavior has been consistent and I losing my patients on warning you about the album covers. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 01:44, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as File:Lil wayne rebirth cover album.jpg, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
