[edit]

Hello, MrCoolGuy159, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as EveryoneisMinecraft, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

A tag has been placed on EveryoneisMinecraft requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Notice

The article ExplodingTNT has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. If you were the only contributor, placing {{db:author}} on the page would be a way to delete it. But you were not the only contributor.
There would be no objection to you blanking what's currently in the draft and starting over with normal prose and adding references.
Failing that, you'll just have to wait for the normal 6-month age-out of abandoned drafts. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:58, 6 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Creating drafts about people, as you did at Draft:Steve Sherlock (music), with zero references is asking for trouble. Find notability references first. Until you have them in hand, anything you write is likely to be futile. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 18:24, 6 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wonder (series) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Wonder (series), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your contributed article, List of Wonder Characters

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, List of Wonder Characters. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonder_(Palacio_novel)#Main_characters. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonder_(Palacio_novel)#Main_characters. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Humsorgan (talk) 06:02, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't really a merge. This is really a requested move of AirPods to ear and then a merge of Apple earbuds#Apple EarPods to be merged. I would suggest that the requested move discussion should happen as otherwise this page is unnecessary.

Hurricane articles

[edit]

Hey there! I noticed your edits to some hurricane related articles recently. I’m glad you’re enthusiastic about writing. There are a lot of us hurricane geeks on Wikipedia.

I saw your article for Hurricane Labor Day. That seemed kinda odd to me. Did you want it to be every tropical cyclone that affected land, anywhere over Labor Day Weekend? It didn’t seem to have too strong of a focus, unlike say Hurricane Dorian, which could only be about one particular topic. I was wondering what you were going for with that article, and what kind of articles you were interested in working on. I love been writing for 15 years now, so I’ve accumulated a lot of useful resources for researching and compiling the info for the articles.

Happy editing! Hurricanehink mobile (talk) 23:17, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

AHA

[edit]

Please note that disambiguation pages like AHA are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, they have guidelines that are different from articles. From the Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry that mentions the title being disambiguated
  • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references - Wikipedia is not a business directory
  • Do not add articles to acronym or initials disambiguation pages unless the person or entity is widely known by that name (in which case it should be stated in the linked article).

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Rebug requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

MrCoolGuy159, "vandalism" is defined as intentional disruption. You thus know the answer. Either you're being intentionally disruptive and thus a vandal, or your're not being intentionally disruptive and thus not a vandal.
