suggestions for srk page (also left on the srk talk page)

[edit]

please try to incorporate my following suggestions or corrections:

INTRO -he has won 15 filmfare awards not fouteen (third line)

ACTING CAREER -please use the range for years as 1988-92, 1993-1997, 1998-2003, 2004-2006, 2007-2010 because overlap is creating confusion.

-red chillies not red chillis and there is not even a single mention about the company under that heading 2004-2007.

STAGE PERFORMANCES -addition: now or never concert in 2002 december in durban, south africa featuring many actors like amitji duggu sanju pri etc http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Now+or+Never+Concert+srk&page=1

-correction: awesome foursome were akki-juhi-kajol-srk no salman no twinkle http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Awesome+Foursome+concert+srk

BRAND SRK -you can easily add 20 more popular brands of india to the list in that paragraph in 2 more lines like pepsodent etc.

IN THE MEDIA -mushtaq sheikh has written 1 more book in addition to still reading khan http://www.amazon.com/Shah-Rukh-Can-Shahrukh-bollywood/dp/8187108266

again please

I'm working on those stuff and I like when ppl suggest things to me as for the Filmfare awards, The 15th is the swiss award which was only honory, even Filmfare magazine states his tally of filmfare awards as 14 :/ --Meryam90 (talk) 22:01, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
so you mean an honory filmfare award is not a filmfare award? weird :/ well as you please. peace out. Bubblelubble (talk) 23:13, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Several sections are wrongly named in the Career sections of this guy's article. A header must summarize the entire section and give a topic understanding to the reader. Would you spare some time to discuss this on the article's talk page so that, they could be re-named appropriately? Thanks. Secret of success (talk) 15:58, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Priyanka Chopra

[edit]

Hey Meryam! Will you please help me work on Priyanka Chopra's article? According to the GA review: - Most references are either incomplete, dead or unreliable. - The early life section is too small and lacks sources. - There's no emphasis on her modelling career. Also, people keep changing the page structure. Need help with that as well. I'll be really grateful if you consider my request.

BTW, You're the best editor!! :D BYE! — Preceding unsigned comment added by MrSalvatore (talkcontribs) 23:17, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jai (2012 film) listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Jai (2012 film). Since you had some involvement with the Jai (2012 film) redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so). BollyJeff | talk 19:40, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

SRK

[edit]

Meryam90,

You have written in the SRK article comment that "it was agreed that a personal life section is not needed since he has been married before becoming an actor--all info are in early life & bg section". May I know who has agreed that with whom? There are many article including Barack Obama where there is not only the section "Personal life" but a seperate article Family of Barack Obama when he was not president of USA. Coolgama (talk) 08:52, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Meryam90, Pls. check the earlier contribution done by me on this article Shahrukh Khan. I had added good amount of information with referecnes, and you said, this is too personal information. The wikipedia articles content addition is a coolaborative effort and the content of article gets added like this only. pls. check the 1st article written by Jimbo 10 years back and see the content in it and also check the status of the article today. I do not think, there is anything wrong in referring other articles.

Pls. give a way to add the content in the aricle and help to make the article complete. Coolgama (talk) 04:43, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. So maybe I'm not getting your point (especially since I don't know what "gangerous" means)--how is "The film deals with the issues of prohibition of alcohol, prostitution, and drugs in Gujarat" not entirely vague? In what way is the film "dealing" with the issues? By promoting them? Satirizing them? Criticizing them? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 09:58, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Govinda Naam Mera moved to draftspace

[edit]

Article is about a film still set in the future. Never been updated.

Hello, Meryam90,

We typically only "draftify" recently created articles which has been defined, roughly, as anywhere from 3-6 months old. This article is 18 months old and so your page move was reverted by another editor. If you believe this article should not be part of the project, you can use one of Wikipedia's forms of article deletion, CSD, PROD, or AFD, whichever seems appropriate. Or you could work on improving the article yourself! Thanks! Liz Read! Talk! 01:42, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sharvari Wagh, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kabir Khan.

Travis Kelce and Bud Light/Pfizer

[edit]

Before I begin, this post is in no way shape or form intended to start a debate on this topic, not saying you would or anybody else that might see this would, but I feel I have to add that disclaimer.

Anybody, regardless of opinion on these companies, can agree both companies are heavily politicized right now. However, simply mentioning he's appeared in commercials for these companies does not in any way push any sort of political agenda and does not praise or criticize either side of belief of either company. With that being said, I have fixed the wording to ensure it cannot by taken political and just is simply stating he appeared in the commercials. To further push that it isn't intended to be political, I have turned it into a list of companies he's done commercials for.--Rockchalk717 06:04, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think the article you chose as the reliable source directly stated your intentions for you. Furthermore, he endorses tens of products and you only found those two to add to his page. Ahuh. Okay. As you say.

Those were the ones fresh in my mind because they've been the ones getting advertised. By adding this, I'm hoping it allows other editors to add the other endorsement deals he's had because I honestly am having trouble remembering the others because I know he's done others. Also, I didn't add that information or the source so I'm not sure what you mean by that, but if you're referring to the article title, I think you misread the editors intention. If they were furthering a political agenda they would have said their side was good and the other side is bad and you're a bad person for being on that side (not saying this about either side, just speaking generally here). Don't let an article's title tell you otherwise. But I'm going to leave this conversation before it takes a turn in a direction to a conversation I chose to not have on Wikipedia.--Rockchalk717 05:21, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not going to edit war with you over something that frankly I don't give a damn about. You seem to have some sort of issue with me because a source some other editor added into the article and are taking it out on the other edits. So I'm just going to leave Travis Kelce's article alone because I'm not getting a temporary ban over an edit war with an editor that appears to have some sort grudge against my edits. Have a fantastic day.--Rockchalk717 05:31, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
