The Brain Child Foundation

I am one of the 3 directors of The BrainChild Foundation. It was established in the 4th quarter of 2012 and is registered as a non-profit entity. The organization has been involved in a number of small outreach projects to date.

Current Project

[edit]

In 2013, BrainChild identified Tumelo Home, a Home for mentally disabled children based in Ivory Park (Midrand), and conducted a blanket drive for the Home in March 2013. The blanket drive was a massive success and BrainChild has since adopted Tumelo Home. In this regard, BrainChild assists Tumelo Home from time to time with its requirements for purposes of keeping the Home running and making sure that the children are comfortable. As our first project for 2014, BrainChild has decided to collect groceries for Tumelo Home. Our contact at the Home, Mr Solly Khuthama, has brought it to our attention that groceries are at the top of the Home's requirements.

The project was successfully completed on the 29th of March.
