Page Restoration

[edit]

I restored the content of this page because the town of Tiverton and the Tiverton census-designated place (CDP) are not coextensive. The town of Tiverton had a population of 15,260 in 2000. The Tiverton CDP, which only covers part of the town, had a population of 7,282. Both places have different geographic boundaries and demographics.

The only other example of this in the state is Westerly in Washington County. The town had a population of 22,966 in 2000 and the CDP had a population of 17,682. The town and CDP have separate articles. --Acntx (talk) 14:31, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
