Cats

[edit]

I see we’ve moved to semi-protected as we’ve had a few users wanting to reference cat killing. I myself reversed one of the ALL CAPS additions the other day (I see many Twitter users upset by this). I can see HuffPost and LBC have excerpts from the biography where she admits she and her mother drowned cats when she was 11 years old. The story is not big though in media terms - I can see a few pick ups e.g INews. Though I wonder whether this qualifies for mention in the context of her biography causing controversy. Views? I think it’s relevant - she mentioned it in her memoir. Maybe a separate controversies section adding? The ‘watch the calories’ thing can be included in there. Thecranehusband (talk) 16:04, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:BLP and WP:UNDUE, we're not going to label someone a cat killer because they grew up on a farm many decades ago, regardless of what the Twittersphere thinks. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:40, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

yeah makes sense! Thecranehusband (talk) 17:33, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
