Full name(s)
[edit]I've seen Forge FC, Canada Soccer, and CONCACAF each give different and sometimes conflicting full names for the club:
- Forge Football Club
- Canada Soccer national club licence Canada Soccer
- Referee appointments Canada Soccer
- Forge FC Hamilton
- "Forge FC Hamilton announced Tuesday the club has signed captain Kyle Bekker to a new contract." Forge FC
- Club wordmark Forge FC
- Canadian Championship draw details Canada Soccer
- "Forge FC Hamilton advanced to the Quarter-Finals of the Canadian Championship..." Canada Soccer
- Hamilton Forge FC
These are just some examples from these sources; other sources in the media use these names in different combinations as well.
I've added these three names to the article lede (MOS:ALTNAME). My sense is that "Forge Football Club" should continue to be listed as the "Full Name" be in the article's infobox because that's the name on the club's license. I am wordsmyth (talk) 16:52, 4 May 2023 (UTC)
