Blocked on Wikidata

[edit]

Am writing to request the administrative of Wikidata to unblock my Wikidata account, following the recent blocking of my Wikidata account last year ago.

As a newcomer editor of Wikidata significantly contribute to me in vandalizing the rules and regulations of Wikidata, after participating and engaging in so many Wikidata training both online and physically has shaved my knowledge on how to create a single lexame knowing the rules and regulations of Wikidata  Among others. I will be very glad if the administration of Wikidata will give me a second chance to continue editing Wikidata and contribute immensely to the sum of free knowledge through Wikidata as a Wikimedia sister project. @Adamu ab. Hey there. This is the English Wikipedia. You'll need to follow whatever the unblock procedure on Wikidata is. Your Wikidata talk page at wikidata:User talk:Adamu ab seems to have a lot of activity. That might be a good place to ask. –Novem Linguae (talk) 21:32, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Can't unblock a user longer than 50 characters.

[edit]

UTRS gets an error when you enter a username longer than 50 charcters even though usernames can be longer than 50 characters. Is this a bug or is this intentional? 1.129.110.121 (talk) 00:55, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm curious as to the source of your interest in this topic. Are you a user with a name longer than 50 characters? 331dot (talk) 08:26, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting, can you submit a bug ticket at UTRS' Github?--v/r - TP 14:15, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock Request

[edit]

Dear admins,

I'm writing to appeal the indefinite block on my account which is preventing me from editing Wikidata. I understand that my actions may have raised concerns, and I'd like to clarify my intentions and actions. I understand now that my approach was incorrect and assure you that my intention was not to disrupt or spam. I am committed to improve as I have already reviewed Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I will also ensure that my future edits align with community standards and I am willing to participate in constructive discussions and seek guidance from experienced editors. Thank you for considering my appeal. I look forward to your response and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Wikidata.

Thank you ~~~~ Adamu ab (talk) 08:18, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata is a separate project. If you are blocked there, you need to appeal there. There's nothing en.wikipedia.org can do for you. --Yamla (talk) 10:03, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
