This Philadelphia Meetup page coordinates the series of meetup events in Philadelphia and the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

This box coordinates the level of organization of meetup events in the Northeast US.
Wikimedia New York City officially serves communities in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Local committees and/or new chapters across the Northeast are also anticipated in future.

The seventh Philly Wikipedia Meetup will happen on March 15, 2009. It is hosted by WikiProject Philadelphia. This will keep with our stated goal of having one of these events every few months.
The meetup is being organized by mblumber and Wknight8111. If you would like to help, please contact us.
Location
[edit]We will be meeting at Drexel's Creese Student Center, between 32nd and 33rd streets on Chestnut at 3pm.
Dinner will be at Bucca Di Beppo, 258 South 15th St at 6pm. I'm going to tell them six people, but can make it a larger number.
We will be meeting in the first floor lobby. Please enter the doors facing chestnut street on the eastern end of the building (closest to 32nd street)

- We could also work to expand the coverage of the National Historic Landmarks in Philadelphia

Location: Drexel University
In the afternoon, we will hold a session at Drexel dedicated to discussing Wikimedia Pennsylvania activity and cooperation with the regional Wikimedia New York City chapter.
Are events like a Wikipedia Takes Philadelphia in our future?
In the evening, we'll share dinner and friendly wiki-chat at a local Italian restaurant.
