Agenda

[edit]

No Wikipedia editing experience necessary; this Wikipedia Day 2019 celebration is a social event and not an editathon. While the agenda is still tentative, we hope to have a few speakers, some food (hors d'oeuvres and a birthday cake), and some time to socialize. If anyone attending would like to speak at this event, just add your name below. An example of presenting is through a lightning talk, which shares an idea or story in ~5 minutes.

Many works, especially in the United States, have been released into the public domain on January 1, 2019, so we might do something with the library to celebrate Public Domain Day 2019 as well. See more at 2019 in public domain.

If you are unfamiliar with Wikipedia, you might try this training module which will help explain a lot of things, including how to add your signature.
