This is a very simplistic algorithm so the output should be [[H:PREVIEW|previewed]] and the template usually be [[WP:SUBST|substituted]] in the article namespace. It should not be used to implement [[Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Capital letters]]. Most obviously, it ignores proper nouns. Although the algorithm is based on [[United States Government Printing Office]] manual §3.49, the pink rows in the following table are §3.49 examples which the template output does not match.
