William W. Skinner

Will Skinner was the first head coach of the Maryland Terrapins football team. The team was founded in 1892. Skinner compiled an 0-3 record in his only season as coach. Maryland lost to teams from St. John's (Annapolis, Maryland), Johns Hopkins (Baltimore, Maryland), and Episcopal High School (Alexandria, Virginia).

Skinner was head coach at Arizona from 1900 to 1901.
