Wish you were better!

If you have real point, instead of pasting chuncks of text that is unrelated (secondary) to articles that you paste, which is Vandalism, you create a page which collects and tries to prove your point. But that needs a lot of work, and you do not have that capacity and time for it, right?--OttomanReference 16:44, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Create an article named Religious Freedoms (Ottoman Empire) and show us what you know about it.--OttomanReference 16:53, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

İsmet İnönü

Hello Deliogul, I have no idea who İsmet İnönü was and I don't actually care, but I think saying that you hate him because he is a Kurd is inappropriate on a Wikipedia user page. Please see the guidelines for user pages, and in particular, the suggestion to avoid "Personal statements that could be considered polemical, such as opinions on matters unrelated to Wikipedia". In fact, this may apply to your entire section. Regards, Rodney Boyd 21:18, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am a member of the Türkeli(the region of Turks). Also it isn't only because the conflict between the Kurdish and Turkish nations. Maybe, I would dislike Germans, French or Indians. Only, as I know, there is not a single Kurdish person that has been constructive for Turkey. This is my idea. Deliogul 21:42, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Deliogul, With respect, whether you like Kurds or not isn't the point. I'm sure there are Internet forums where you can discuss or publicize your views on Turkish-Kurdish relations. Wikipedia user pages are not meant to be one of them. So again, I urge you to remove the section in question. It is not at all in the spirit of Wikipedia. Regards, Rodney Boyd 22:26, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Alright... I made it more polite. It is really nice to see sensitive people around. You were right, it isn't fit to the Wikiedia project. Showing my own ideological ideas isn't good for the project. Deliogul 22:30, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Deliogul, Thank you for your cooperation. Regards, Rodney Boyd 22:43, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I would completely disagree on Inönü. Inönü had been Atatürk's comrade in war AND we must not forget he was the one who kept Turkey out of the second world war. Kurd or not, he DID make a HUGE contribution to the republic, so you should be fair with his memory. I am completely a devoted admirer of Turkey and Atatürk's work - but I daresay we must give Inönü the place he deserves in history. The fact the he rests in Anitkabir, where Atatürk rests too, tells what the nation should think about his work. Atatürk is Atatürk, you are right about his charisma, but I think everyone who contributed to the republic of Turkey should be given the respect. It was not Atatürk alone who made the whole republic. He was the leader, he was the fikir babasi but he was not alone with his ideas. With respect --Teemeah Gül Bahçesi 17:32, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
We decleared war to a finished Nazi Germany. Inönü waited until it became clear that Germans will lost the war and it was a HUGE mistake. We are Turkey! We can't declare war to finished nations. This means that we were afraid of Germans but we shouldn't! Also İsmet İnönü didn't command any successful military campaigns in the Independence War. I.İnönü War was won by the heads of İnönü because İnönü ruined the war and as we all know there wasn't a war called II. İnönü War, it didn't even happened! It was a political tactic that was prepared by Atatürk himself to shut the voices down in the Parliment. If we come to the Anıtkabir thing... İnönü ordered the construction of Anıtkabir then when he died, his body was put there... Hımm doesn't look like a coincidence! İnönü was an unsuccesful second man that stayed next to the only man, Atatürk! He even changed the banknote(lira) of Turkey. He extracted the Atatürk's picture and the greywolf figure from the banknote and put there the image of his own head! Think twice before arguing something. Army of Islam

There is an article Army of Islam, it seems you know alot about this topic, why don't you fill in the gaps in the article.?? That would be great help, like the battles, etc. DO not forget to add the sources you find the information...--OttomanReference 16:55, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I need time to gather information about this but It would be a pleasure for me to do it. Actually Enver Pasha once defeated an "Islamic Army" that possibly gathered secretly by the Sultan himself against the Three Pasha's and their revolution and Mustafa Kemal Pasha was a commander in the troops of Enver Pasha which were formed against this "Islamic Force". Whatever, I'm starting to work on it.(Maybe you wish to gather information about my Islamic Army. We call this event the "March 31 Event". Actually the date of this conflict was April 13, 1909 but according to the Islamic calendar it was March 31 so the event named as this) With respect, the noble member of Kayı Tribe, Deliogul 21:25, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your comments on Talk:Turkey

Reading these comments -- [1], [2] -- that you added to Talk:Turkey, I thought of pointing to you the policies of Wikipedia:Ownership of articles, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view and Wikipedia:No personal attacks. Thanks! -- Paddu 10:53, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am going to say two clear things. First of all, Kurds are just an ethnic group in Turkey and they can't and must not have more than that. Secondly, Cyprus Peace Operation was an operation designed to stop murders of Cypriot Greeks against Turkish owners of the island and I am repeating it again, we could reconquer all of the island but we didn't because we were trying to find a more peaceful way to fix the situation. There is no personal attack, I didn't use one single bad word in my opinions. Please be realistic for the next time. Kertenkelebek 10:13, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Şu an uzun soluklu bir tatile çıktım,sanırım bunu hakettim. Yine de merak etmeyin, arada girmeye devam ediyorum ve bu sayfayı iyice irdeleyip tartışmalara katılacağım. Saygılarımla; Deliogul 10:20, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Turkey

Hi, Can you keep an eye on the Turkey article? Some anti-Turkish chauvanists are trying to insert some extremely POV sentences about Turkey's history on there, concerning armenians, the cyprus operation etc. This is really getting out of hand. Thank you.--Kilhan 17:11, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
