Rollback granted

Hi Amckern. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! – Juliancolton | Talk 15:14, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This roaming up out of Florida that you welcomed yesterday is a persistent disruptive editor who just returned from a 30 day block. He consistently disrupts and vandalized Wikipedia pages. In fact all of the edits he has made since returning from the 30 day block have been reverted by Hank Scorpio. This person must be banned from Wikipedia. He also used another ip address starting with 172 while the block was in place. Another editor believes that this is Zackman 08. Please help us out with this person. Thank you, Doriden (talk) 07:31, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Fetch TV, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 10 Play. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:59, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake (rolled back your edit)

In reading the edits backwards on Alien (franchise), I mistook what was going on and rolled back to the edit prior to yours instead of rolling back to yours. The editor afterwards had changed "three sequels" to "two", so I assumed it was vandalism (i.e., saying that Resurrection doesn't exist). Having read your edit again, I think they were just trying to clarify the text as Resurrection was moved to a new paragraph with the prequels, so the mention of "three sequels" no longer made sense on its own.

I have since re-edited that section to be clearer grammatically, as your edit had attempted to do. Check it out and let me know you're okay with it, if you can? Lewisguile (talk) 14:44, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also, feel free to delete this, if no further discussion is needed. Lewisguile (talk) 14:45, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
