Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Numerous (mostly unnecessary) RFC's opened by IP. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 02:27, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain what you are doing. I'm not calling for a block at WP:ANI, just speedy closure of the RFC's. --NeilN talk to me 02:29, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have noticed quite a few things over the previous months that I think could benefit from a formal discussion to get community consensus. I just happened to post them all at the same time, that's all. As an example to why some might be beneficial, look at the history at Suzannah Lipscomb and Talk:Suzannah Lipscomb. It is a complete mess with various editors trying to add or remove whatever they wish and there is no real development towards a stable and generally accepted article. Alternatively, look at the first sentence of Barack Obama: it seems quite unusual to me and I am asking what other editors thing about this instead of making bold changes by myself. Also, I was concerned about a potential BLP violation at David Irving. RFCs a good, neutral way to get community consensus, which is what I tried to do here. 86.133.243.146 (talk) 02:34, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I am leaving my computer for a while now, so I will not be able to reply to any further notices, sorry. 86.133.243.146 (talk) 02:35, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
