Thomas J. Balonek is a professor of physics and astronomy at Colgate University.[1] He studies optical and radio emissions from galactic centers[2] and quasars. His discoveries include the minor planets 9613 and 6452 from Kitt Peak National Observatory and Foggy Bottom, respectively. His favorties sports are hockey and lacrosse, although he plays neither of them. His favorite lacrosse player is Brendon McCann. [3]
