Princess Joyce Enaje Pring-Triviño (born May 4, 1993) is a Filipina television personality and host. Born in Tondo, Manila, she began hosting as a video jockey after winning at Myx VJ Search in 2011. Pring later hosted various television shows in GMA Network, including the online program of 2018 GMA New Year Countdown: Buong Puso Para sa Kapuso (2017–2018).
Early life
Princess Joyce Enaje Pring,[1] one of two siblings, was born on May 4, 1993, in Tondo, Manila.[2] Her mother is a registered nurse, while her father was a Manila Police District officer. She grew up in Tondo and Sta. Mesa, Manila.[3] After her father was assassinated by members of the Alex Boncayao Brigade,[2][4] Pring was raised by her stepfather who is a graphic designer. She was a graduate of Quezon City Science High School and enrolled in University of the Philippines Diliman College of Fine Arts in 2010.[3]
Career
Pring became a finalist in Myx VJ Search in 2011, where she won as a video jockey,[3] before making a part in the noontime show Eat Bulaga! in 2014 for the Trip Na Trip segment.[5] In August 2017, she signed a network deal with GMA Network;[6] her subsequent projects included hosting the online program of the special 2018 GMA New Year Countdown: Buong Puso Para sa Kapuso,[7] and serving as a journey presenter on the first season of the television talent show The Clash (2018).[8] Pring then joined the morning show Unang Hirit as its segment co-host in October 2018.[2]
Personal life
Pring and actor Juancho Triviño are in a relationship since May 2019.[9] They became engaged that August,[10][a] and married in Pasay City in February 2020.[12] The couple have two children: Alonso Eliam (born 2021) and Agnes Eleanor (born 2023).[13][14]
