Newark is a village in Kendall County, Illinois, United States. The population was 992 at the 2010 census,[4] up from 887 at the 2000 census.
Geography
[edit]Newark is located in southwestern Kendall County. Illinois Route 71 passes through the village, leading northeast 10 miles (16 km) to Yorkville, the county seat, and southwest 20 miles (32 km) to Ottawa.
