2012-present: F64, Why Hello World and debut studio album
A couple of weeks after leaving the show, Misha performed a live freestyle F64 for SB.TV.[15] Directed by Jamal Edwards and Uploaded on Dec 24, 2011, her rap [16] quickly gained one of the highest view counts on the SBTV F64 playlist.[17] In February 2012, it was announced that Bryan had signed a record deal with the Relentless Records.[18][19] In the same month, she participated in the X Factor Tour from February 25 to April 4 2012.[20] Whilst on the tour, Misha spent time working on her first mix-tape, Why Hello World, which made its debut on 27 April 2012.[21] The mix-tape includes samples of five original songs, including "Big Dreaming," "Last Forever," and her debut single Home Run; plus covers of Rolling in the Deep, Mirror and Climax .[22] On it's debut, Why Hello World clocked up over 16,000 downloads and 25,000 streams, and became Radio 1Xtra's mixtape of the week.[23]
On 2 May 2012, she announced her debut single Home Run as her début single, co-written and produced by British songwriter MNEK and Misha Bryan [24]; it was release in the UK on the 15th of July.[25] A snippet of the single was first unveiled on BBC Radio 1Xtra[26] with the single being later added to both BBC Radio One[27] and BBC Radio 1Xtra[28] playlists, as well as the video being on the MTV playlists,[29] before its official release. The music video for the single [30], which was directed by Rohan Blair-Mangat, premiered on 15 June 2012.[31] [32] Flavour Magazine described the song as being reggae-infused, and features jolting percussion and drum and bass influenced beats combined with Misha's soulful vocals.[33] Bryan cited Cyndi Lauper's Girls Just Want to Have Fun as an influencing the single's creation.[34] On 25 June 2012, she performed an acoustic version of the song live for i-D magazine at Red Bull studios [35] and again for SB.TV on July 11th.[36]
On 23 July 2012, Misha B was announced as the special guest supporting act for the 10 UK dates of Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday: Reloaded Tour.[37]Bryan is currently working on her debut album, and a second mixtape,[38] collaborating with various writers and producers, including MNEK, TMS and Naughty Boy.[39] She is also working on tracks with Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliot.[40] Speaking to the Daily Star about the overall sound of her LP she said: “It’s heavily soul," as she continued, "It’s all good-feeling music, songs that make you want to party, stuff you can relate to and cheer you up." She also revealed that she plans on releasing the record in time for Christmas.[41] In an interview with QX magazine Bryan referring to her forth coming album said "I’m heavily influenced by where my family come from, Jamaica, so there’s a dancehall vibe, but I’m from Britain so there’s pop, too. I started out as a rapper before I became a singer, so there’s hip-hop in there and also Motown/soul vibe."[42]

Mancunian Misha Byron was this year's most talented discovery and oozed star quality from the start. On the first live show, she emerged in a frock made out of newspapers, teamed with a chicken-wire fascinator, perched on an Union Jack throne and crooned Adele's Rolling In The Deep, complete with mid-song rap. Like a 21st century Grace Jones or an urban Lady Gaga, the teenager seemed like a proper pop star already."
