[edit]- Like Nihongo in English, 日本語/日本语 (Rìběnyǔ) is usually restricted to linguistic and language learning contexts, whilst 日文 (Rìwén) and 日語/日语 (Rìyǔ) are more commonly used in written and conversational situations respectively.
