    Inherited from Prakrit 𑀓𑀟𑁆𑀠𑀇 (kaḍḍhaï, to pull). Cognate with Assamese কঢ়া (korha), Maithili काढ़ब (kāṛhab), Hindi काढ़ना (kāṛhnā), Gujarati કાઢવું (kāḍhvũ), Punjabi ਕੱਢਣਾ (kaḍḍhaṇā), Marathi काढणे (kāḍhṇe). Doublet of উখড়ানো (ukhṛanō).
