Etymology

    Inherited from Prakrit 𑀕𑀤𑁆𑀤𑀳 (gaddaha), from Sanskrit गर्दभ (gardabha).[1] Compare Saraiki گَڈّاں (gaḍḍāṉ) / ڳَݙّا (g̈aḏḏā) and Sindhi گَڏَھُ (gaḏahu).
