super stall (plural super stalls)

  1. (aviation, aeronautics) A type of stall, where airflow detaches not only from the main lifting wing, but also from the horizontal control surfaces of the tail and/or canard as well; resulting in loss of control over pitch and ineffectual elevators; being a stall of all the horizontal aerofoil surfaces of an aircraft.
