[edit]From Ottoman Turkish اینلتی (inilti, “a moan, moaning”) or ایكلتی (iŋilti),[1] from Proto-Turkic *iŋ (“onomatopoeic for; moaning sound”) or *iŋil,[2] morphologically inil- + -ti.
