Saisiyat bosoe' (testicle)). First attested in Antonio Pigafetta's Relazione del primo viaggio intorno al mondo—detailing the first circumnavigation of the world between 1519 and 1522.

The first sense is displaced by itlog in most dialects. Compare Hiligaynon buto, Kapampangan butu (penis) and Malay butuh (penis).
