Etymology
[edit]Lexicalization of the dialectal noun mög (“space behind something”) + -ött (locative suffix).[1] The base word is from Proto-Finno-Ugric *miŋä (*müŋä) (“space behind something”). Cognates include Finnish myös.[2]
