Kafferskraal

1. (South Africa) A place name for many farms originally worked by black natives.
   • 2002, Bakone Justice Moloto, Land Claims Court of South Africa case LCC 3/00[1]:

     It was put to him that the name Kafferskraal signified that the farm had always been a black kraal occupied by blacks and the name was used since the 1850s with no other European name given to it.
