Orangey

It comes from the identification that Protestants have in Northern Ireland as supporters of the memory of King William III, "Prince of Orange", the color is often identified with the fraternal Protestant Orange Order.

Orangey (plural Orangies)

1. (slang, Ireland, sometimes derogatory) A Protestant, especially one that is a member of the Protestant unionist community of Northern Ireland.
2. (slang, Ireland, sometimes derogatory) Any one from the Protestant, Unionist and pro-British community, whether they are members of the Orange Order or not (as termed by Irish Nationalists and Catholics).
