piped link (plural piped links)

  1. (MediaWiki) An internal link with wikitext that creates hyperlinked text displayed on a page that is different from the title of the page to which the text links.

      In that case, you can link to that section with a piped link, and the link doesn't have to be at the beginning of the entry.
