Abstract:
Ten years after the beginning of an active demographic policy, Russia is again on the threshold of complex demographic challenges. Currently, the country is on its way to a difficult stage, which is characterized by a natural decline in the country's population. What is the difference between the current stage of Russia's demographic development and the previous one? Will the mechanisms and tools of the demographic policy of 2007-2017 work today? The paper analyzes the past ten-year stage of demographic policy in Russia and discusses possible responses to new demographic challenges.
