Abstract: 중국경제는 2012년부터 고속 경제성장 시대를 마감하고 중속성장을 의미하 는 ‘신창타이(新常態, New Normal)’ 시대에 진입하였다. 이는 중국경제가 지난 30여 년간 추진해온 투자, 수출 주도의 양적 성장방식이 한계에 봉착하였으며 새로운 성장모델로의 전환이 필요해졌음을 의미한다. 중국정부는 신창타이시대에 필요한 새로운 경제 발전전략으로 ‘공급측 구조개혁’을 제시하였다. Starting from 2012, the Chinese economy has slowed down to enter the era of “New Normal,” where medium-paced growth is the new norm. This means that the Chinese economy has reached the limits of its quantitative growth driven by investment and exports over the last 30 years, and now needs to transition toward a new growth model. In response, the Chinese government has proposed “Supply-side Structural Reform” (SSSR) as a new economic development strategy in the era of New Normal.
