Post-crises performance of Indian equity funds: A comparative analysis across different categories

Smita Roy Trivedi

MPRA Paper from University Library of Munich, Germany

Abstract: This paper studies the performance of Indian equity funds in each of the following categories: Large cap, Large and Mid-cap, Mid and Small cap, Multi cap and International. It presents a comparative analysis of equity funds in different categories in the post-crises period, i.e. in the aftermath of the global economic crises. Given that different categories of equity funds chosen for the study here have different asset allocations and investment objectives, a comparative analysis of equity funds across these categories would help to give an indication regarding which of these sectors have done better in the post-crises scenario.
