Abstract: "For more than five years now, the so-called one-euro jobs have been an instrument of labour market policy under Book II of the Social Code. They are intended to help the unemployed who encounter multiple barriers to placement to reduce the distance between themselves and the labour market and to become (re-)integrated. A survey of firms and administrations from the year 2006 to 2008 shows how such establishments see the practical configuration, operation and effects of this publicly financed measure."
