Abstract: A precision to start with: when a new development occurs in science, the vocabulary is often uncertain. Here, under the word evolutionary, I include also the fields of self-organization and of cognitive economies as covered in (Lesourne et al., 2002). Evolutionary microeconomics is a young twig in economies. Hence, research possibilities are immense. To try to identify some of these is the purpose of this paper which does not pretend to exhaustivity but would like to stimulate young scientists. The paper is divided into two parts, the first being devoted to observations and experiments, the second to theory. Convenient for this presentation, such a separation would be dangerous in practice since empirical research suggests models and theory would become arbitrary if not confronted to facts.
