Abstract:
Employers? recruitment efforts may change the efficiency of the matching process through several channels, some of which have not been identified. This paper analyses the link between the efforts implemented at each stage of hiring (search channels, selection methods, time devoted, people invested, etc.) and the quality of the match using a typology of efforts measured from the Dares 2016 OFER survey. Demanding and patient employers are more satisfied with their recruitments, as well as those who are in a hurry, very flexible and who limit their search. Less satisfied employers are those too hurried to find the best application among those collected during their wide search.
